Who we are
As the very first polytechnic university in France, Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France favors cross-fertilization between science and technology and humanities and offers multidisciplinary programs.
Research at UPHF is divided into 4 research components, and the 200 training courses are distributed within 2 component-establishments and 2 academic components, allowing for a wide variety of fields of study.
UPHF’s two main campuses, Mont Houy campus with its green environment (green spaces, picnic tables and sports facilities available) and Tertiales – Ronzier in the town centre (very close to shops and the train station), are linked by the tramway (free travel for those under -26).
They are located in Valenciennes, a city which geographical situation is a big asset to discover several neighbor countries such as Belgium, Netherlands, Germany or Luxembourg.
Why study at Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France?
“I would like to encourage students to come study with us. Valenciennes is a medium size city, close enough to big cities like Lille or Brussels to have a good balance between a calm environment and rich cultural life.”
