The study programmes cover various scientific fields: Arts, Agriculture and Food, Economics and Technology, Engineering, Humanities and Cultural Studies, Health Sciences, Human Movement and Quality of Life Sciences, Management and Social and Political Sciences.

The University of the Peloponnese (UOP) is a public, comprehensive university located in six different cities of the region, with its headquarters in Tripolis. Founded in 2000, UOP today comprises 9 faculties and 22 departments offering a range of undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral studies to almost 25,000 enrolled students. Additionally, there are currently 61 Research Laboratories with over 200 competitive research programmes in progress, reflecting the university’s strong research profile.

The university’s programmes meet the requirements and standards set by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (ΗΑΗΕ), ensuring high quality studies and achievement of the expected learning outcomes. In addition, the programmes are in line with the principles
and guidelines of the European Higher Education Area.

UOP actively promotes an inclusive environment that combats discrimination based on gender, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation. To support this, the University has established the Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee to ensure that these principles are being applied across in all aspects of academic life.
