The community of EUNICE European University is deeply sorry to learn about the passing of Dr. Valentina Barbagallo, coordinator of the International Relations Unit of the University of Catania (UNICT), who lost her life (Monday 19 May 2025) in an accident.
“We send a strong hug to her family, colleagues and friends”, says UNICT Rector Francesco Priolo, “and we wish them to feel the sympathy of the entire University. We all sincerely appreciated Valentina’s daily commitment to her work, working for years with enthusiasm and effectiveness. She will be greatly missed”.
